Foundational Lessons in Wedding Planning with LVL Academy
May 05, 2016

LVL Weddings and Events and Aisle Planner go way back - Lindsay was one of the first planners on Aisle Planner and has been a valuable part of our community. Over the years, Lindsay and Tina have been cheering each other on as they both built their teams, grew their businesses, and achieved their goals. So, when Lindsay and the LVL Weddings and Events partners decided to launch LVL Academy (and asked us to be a part of it) we were all in!

Lindsay, Heather, and Kerri designed LVL Academy because they wanted to further the industry's growth by giving new planners a foundation in best practices. And as a team that is passionate about raising the standard of the wedding industry, they were driven to create a workshop where they could share their team's expert knowledge to those looking for guidance. So, whether you are a new planner looking to learn wedding planning basics or are an experienced planner yourself but have interns or coordinators who are looking to grow, LVL Academy is a fantastic way to learn and grow. And because it is lead by a group of women who favor collaboration over competition, you'd better believe you'll walk away with a solid foundation!

 What is LVL Academy?

LVL Academy is a one-of-a-kind, exclusive 2-Day workshop is designed specifically for those who are looking to break into the industry and start the journey to a fun and rewarding career as a wedding planner. With extensive knowledge in the latest and greatest trends and techniques of the wedding planning industry, the two-day workshop sets the new standard for the role of a wedding planner in today’s markets.

"What brought me to the academy was to become more open minded about my future and where my life was taking me. I have always been passionate about weddings and I wanted to learn from the best!" - 2015 Graduate Hannah

When you attend the workshop, you get hands on instruction and will leave knowing:

  • The differences between planning and coordination
  • Wedding etiquette
  • Who are your clients?
  • How to build and manage a wedding budget
  • The psychology of wedding planning
  • Timeline planning
  • BEO and floor plans
  • Plus lots more!
"The greatest thing I took away from the LVL Academy was to have a passion for what you are doing and to work as a team with the vendors involved. Someone's wedding is the most special day of their lives, and we should all work together to make it a day they and their guests won't forget. I'm very grateful for the LVL Academy and the ladies for being a guiding light in this industry." - 2015 Graduate Haley

In the end, LVL Academy is not only a great educational opportunity but it is a great way to become a part of the professional wedding planning community. By taking the time to invest in giving yourself a strong foundation in standards and best practices, together - and as a community - we can work to elevate the entire industry! We're so excited to be a part of LVL Academy again this year and hope to see you there!

LVL Academy is June 4th and 5th in Orange County! Apply to attend here.
