Editor's Letter: Social Media

Editor's Letter: Social Media
June 12, 2018

LVL Academy was last week and one of the lessons that there never seems to be enough time for is the social media discussion. From talking about what platforms are worth being on to how to create engaging content, and the always-changing-never-gonna-stop algorithm, if one thing is crystal clear, it’s that social media stresses people out. As someone whose job it is to log a ridiculous amount of time on social media, I feel you. I get frustrated every time I have to learn a new algorithm. I spend way too much time trying to find just the perfect photo to keep our grid on lock. And, no matter how much planning I do, I still find myself doing things on the fly sometimes. #nobodysperfect So, as the wedding industry ramps into busy season (so much content!), it seemed nothing but appropriate to dedicate this month to taking some of the stress out of social media. Make sure you’ve got storage on your camera, be ready to learn how to create content like a boss, and let’s make social media fun again!
