Facing the Future with a Fresh Look: Introducing Aisle Planner 2.0

Aisle Planner 2.0
October 14, 2019

Aisle Planner launched in the midst of our industry’s “digital revolution.” Technology had already begun to drive our own consumer expectations for better, more efficient online experiences with the brands we love and the businesses we sought our products and services from. Merchants and service providers alike began the transformation from the traditional, analog, “three ring binder” organization and management mindset to the new digital, automated, and “always on” norm.

At the time, our industry faced a complex challenge rooted in the intricacies of the services and products connected to every wedding, every day, everywhere. Each one required its own unique professionals and their processes to bring them to life for clients they shared. Neither were any two couples or two weddings alike. Building simple, smart and powerful software that not only solved for their common business needs but brought them together was an investment most companies weren’t willing to make. We set out to ask the hard question of why. The glaring perception was that our industry was too small, too fragmented and unworthy of the commitment needed to deliver a platform that would fit the needs of the “average” wedding professional.

Respectfully, we disagreed.

With a clear and unrelenting vision to revolutionize this industry we called home, we set out on our mission to build a beautiful, simple yet powerful solution to be a part of every wedding, every day, everywhere. From the beginning, we knew what was possible because we’ve come from this industry. As former planners and event producers, we had our own perspective but could also glean reinforcement and new insights through open and trusted dialog with our professional peers. When combined, we knew could build the most comprehensive collection of the tools and features needed to make every pro more efficient, their professional communities more galvanized and our company the ideal tech partner to support their work delivering spectacular events, amazing client experiences and building successful businesses.

"Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains." – Steve Jobs

Making things simple, smart, and powerful has been at the core of everything we have done here at Aisle Planner, and fuels our vision for the future in the wedding industry. Mountains are moved stone by stone, and we will continue to move mountains for this industry and its community of pros who inspire us every day with their innovation, creativity and shear grit to excel in their fields and craft exquisite experiences for their clients. Over the next several months, you’ll continue to see the enhancements to our existing tools that you’ve been asking for along with some exciting additions including a mobile day-of app and first-of-its-kind marketing platform that will forever change how weddings and special events businesses connect with their customers.
