Planning vs Coordination, what's the difference?
Quick response to this:
Planning is the logistical process and prep-work
that leads up to the wedding day. Planning
guides you with resources and doesn't leave you on this journey alone, there is always professional guidance with "Planning". From reviewing & negotiating contracts, to building and orchestrating your dream vendor support team. and of course, plus day of support!
Coordination on the other hand is more like, wedding DAY management. Less about the process leading up to the event day, it's more about having a handle of the execution on that day.
Coordination includes: checking-in with your venue and
vendors, overseeing set up and breakdown,
executing the day of schedule and logistics,
placing decor out, welcoming guests, and running the timeline.
Now that the teaching moment is through - Both Partial and Full Packages are "Planning" packages. Always Allegra unfortunately does not offer: month-of or day-of coordination services.
