Kima is perfect for you if…

 

  • You want a private, exclusive location that has capacity for up to 140 guests – but no matter how many guests you have, you won’t need to worry about anyone else being there, walking past or staying in your wedding location

  • You want a space that can be brought to life creatively or fit your creative vision for your day

 

  • You want a lush, jungle, outdoor wedding (not on the beach)

  • You have a desire to create a very unique event, something that your guests will likely have never experienced at a wedding before, and you may never experience again – you don’t need to have a clear vision but you know that you want a unique space to bring your something special to life

  • You don’t need to be planning a 140-person wedding to be welcome to get married here. We have hosted everything from the biggest to the most intimate, and welcome elopement couples who just want to do it between the two of you (or a very small group).

 

Kima is probably not the best fit if…

  • If you want to have you and all of your guests stay on site. We are a wedding venue ONLY and do not offer any lodging.

  • If you’re looking for clean, manicured & crisp backdrops – this is a jungle, organic, growing, living environment – so you have to be ready for that (the buildings are well designed, minimal and luxury but the gardens are a jungle, not an English country manor style)

 

  • You want to plan your own wedding (or your mum) - we only accept weddings that are organised by a planner – and have a long list of local recommendations we can introduce you to. But planning an international wedding is way too stressful to do without a planner for all of the details.

  • You are trying to create a big event on a very small budget – realistically for an international event and the details that you need (not just the ones you want), there has to be a budget available – not even for the space but everything needed to bring it to life.
